Let's Grow Some Hair! (plus a giveaway winner!)

Hi ya'll! I am Nicholl over at Nicholl Vincent. I am thrilled to be guest posting for Amanda. She is the most helpful, encouraging and sweetest blog friend I have. I know we all love her!

Today, I am sharing some of my hair growth tips.
These are tricks I have used the past six months or so, and my hair has grown exponentially. I get it all the time, "'are you wearing extensions?', or 'omg how did your hair get so long?'"
Well, here it is.

This is exactly one year after the previous picture.
You may think it's not thatttt much, but if you're anything like me,  any millimeter of growth means everything!

I am a firm believer of prenatal vitamins. Not only are they wonderful for your whole body, but they really make your hair grow. Of course, every time someone sees me taking them they ask, "umm...why are you taking those?" Listen, no babies around here, just long hair, don't care!

Biotin. My mom has been telling me about these for months, but just recently I took the leap of faith, and they are wonderful. However, I also just recently discovered that you can take up to five a day. That's really when they become ultra effective.

Also, this is not scientifically proven, but I tell you, it is true and tried.
The way I see it, when we are cold and get goosebumps, our hair on our legs grows, right?
Well, this head massager, which you can get at wal-mart for $5, gives you
head goosebumps and makes your hair grow.

Brushing your hair at night, and only at the crown. Brushing your hair produces oils that hydrate your hair. However, if you brush the ends too often, it causes major breakage.

And last, but not least...
This one is a little strange, but it works..
Pull your hair. Literally.
Just a couple times a day, give it a little tug, it will cause it to come out.

And..
once in a while, massage your head, it stimulates circulation. I massage it for a minute when I shampoo.

And just a little add on summer hair tip: Add a shot of cold air with your blow drier after you have styled it. It really helps keep your hair frizz-free throughout the day!

I hope my tips help your hair to grow a mile long! Don't forget to come check more of our Miami adventures here! Thank you for reading!

Good luck and much love!
..................................................

Ok so seriously how cute of a couple are they?!?!

And I don't know about you...but I've been trying to grow my hair out since November and it's coming along slowly...

You better believe I'm gonna start pulling and tugging on my hair every chance I get!

I already take biotin but only one a day..I need to amp that up too!

Now go visit this pretty lady and thank her for these awesome tips! You'll love her just as much as I do! Plus she's got a great sense of style that I just love!

  2. I think my hair grew faster while I lived in Alaska for a bit because I was always cold. If your leg hair grows back with goosebumps, why not your scalp? I will definitely pick up some vitamins, I could use them anyway and Biotin. Great post, I know all girls, well most girls want those crazy sexy wavy locks!
    Thanks for sharing!
