Myrtle Beach...Count Down to Vaca...

Hi guys!

I am seriously counting down until our vaca to
Myrtle Beach, SC in May!

I'm just curious if anyone has ever been? And what you would recommend as a 'must do'?!
Please do tell...I would love to know! We are going for a full week!

We are the type of couple who like to relax and have a few drinks while doing it! Not big on staying out until 2am tho...lol!

Where are your fav places to go on vaca?!
Are you a snow bunny or beach bum?!

  2. I'm from NC and we travel to Myrtle Beach all of da' tiiiiime! It's so much fun! We spend most of our nights out at the Boardwalk because there are so many shops, restaurants, and fun bars! And the outlets are always a good choice ;) Can't wait to hear about your trip!

  6. I used to go here every year because my dad is a big golfer and they have great courses there. Broadway at the Beach is fun!

  7. Seriously, you have to do the Sky Wheel during the day and at night! My favorite is at night! We have a vacation house in Surfside which is a town over. You have to get Seafood at Crabby Mike's or the Noisy Oyster and get some good burgers at River City Grill! If you want pizza, hit up Ultimate California Pizza! Go shop at Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing! Enjoy your trip in Carolina and don't forget to play some minature golf while you're there! It's everywhere! lol

  8. I think Julia & Annabelle have gave you some good places to go!! We used to go to Myrtle Beach all the time but haven't been in a few years. It's 4-6 hours from us, so not too bad! I haven't rode the Sky Wheel but have pictures of it all lit up at night. Would love to do it! Yes, Boardwalk & Barefoot Landing are a must! Plus some putt putt ;)

  10. River City is a must for lunch and Murrell's Inlet for dinner. River City has the BEST burgers you have ever tasted! Murrell's Inlet has great local seafood and there are tons of restaurants on the inlet. Broadway at the Beach is fun to walk around and shop, as well as both outlets. Yes, there are two sets of outlets at Myrtle. JCrew, Gap, Banana...they're all there :)

  13. My family used to go every year but we stayed near the water about a half hour away in Garden City. There's an awesome pier up there and makes for a nice and easy night. (drinks included of course)
