Happy Monday ladies!

...oh...who am I kidding...

I am BUTT tired today y'all.

We hosted Easter lunch at our house yesterday and it was exhausting. Had a great time...just exhausting!

I kept my attire super casual and comfy since I was in the kitchen all morn. I forgot to wear my apron, so i ended up with powdered sugar all over me and my face at one point and splatters from various recipes!

Wearing Shirt from Express and maxi dress from Conversation Pieces. Also a red chloe vs tank bracelet!

I made homemade mac and cheese for the first time and it turned out great plus I made my mom's awesome apple cake! Hopefully I'll be able to post the recipe for you guys tomorrow!

I took chloe to the vet for her yearly exam and she was over the moon for her car ride!

I also had a little time to add some extra bracelets to the shop.

Jessica's Baby Shower!

We truly had a blast at my sister's baby shower. She is having a boy this time around so she gets the best of both worlds!

girly girly and dirty dirty!

Since this was her second shower in a year...we decided simple would be best.

I would say the most fun part was trying to think of a BBB initialed name. It's tradition on her husband's side. no they have not decided on a name yet! and she is due in a month!

then we would try to think of all the bad nicknames that could go with the name.

for instance...

and then we got on the topic of our bad nicknames as kids.

mine was A man...duh.

and poor Rachel...we teased her with Roachel.

I'm not a country girl...

I had an excellent weekend!

Eric and I spent Saturday with my family celebrating my mom's birthday and my nephew's 9th birthday!

I got to see this cute little girl..and she is the funniest!

You ask if girls are smarter than boys. she nods her head yes.

You ask if she is the prettiest little girl. she nods her head yes.

But her nod is just one very stern nod!

As you know....I live in Texas...but after this weekend I realize I am not a country girl!

My sister Rachel lives in the country for sure...which is where we celebrated the birthdays.

Anyways...It's getting darker and it's seriously hot and bugs are all around. But it seems like there are a ton of these little bugs everywhere! They just won't go away. At one point I look down at my shirt and there is a black patch of bugs!!

(of course everyone else says they're not gonna kill me)

So...next time...I'm bringing a bug net!!

I'm not a country girl! lol.

I hate bugs!

A Great Weekend...

E and I had a great weekend celebrating his birthday!

We had our usual Friday take out from Genghis Grill and wine (plus a little dessert)!

Saturday night we dressed up and went to Pappa Bros Steakhouse!

And Sunday went to see The Avengers in XD 3D! Awesome movie!!!

I NEVER take naps on the weekend...so I guess E felt it was necesasry to take a photo. At least my mouth wasn't wide open!! However my arm did hurt...it was in a twisted position.

I love Clo Clo's hair at this length! She is such a smarty pants...it kills me!

 

 

We had a great weekend!

We are celebrating next weekend with our moms...plus taking them to the cake tasting!!

A first birthday!

So my weekend was full of fun!

Making cupcakes and little wrappers for my niece's first birthday party!

I don't do it anymore because it was seriously overwhelming and busy!! So now I just make bracelets in my spare time!

Well..we were so looking forward to a nice day by the pool on saturday but instead we got lots of clouds and winds.

A semi-silent day!

my week/weekend was full of pedicures with my mom, trying to hold Tank like a baby, eating panera bread as usual, baking cupcakes and making banana pudding!
