A Door Scratcher



Yes...they will lay by the door when they really really want to go outside. They act like we deprive them.



No....I'm not a door scratcher! But Chloe is :-)

I will start off by stating that I have been very lucky so far in my life. I haven’t really experienced anything dramatic or very much death.

I will also state that I am the biggest worry wart ever. This might sound crazy but I am constantly thinking about our pups and worry that I left something plugged in or forgot to turn a curling iron off and that the house will catch on fire.

Clo Clo loves to sniff and follow the scent of the many rabbits around our yard and neighbourhood. She also likes to dig. She is OBSESSED with these rabbits.

A week ago, I called for Chloe and Tank to come inside from the backyard but there was no Chloe.

We double check the house…no Chloe. 


I am frantic ...AND spastic.


I run out, jump into the car and forget my cell phone. Eric stays home because we are babysitting 2 of our nephews. I drive around asking all pedestrians if they’ve seen a little blonde dog. No one has. Not to mention the fact that She does not wear a collar because she chews them off but she does have a chip.

By this time, I am balling and finally decide to drive back home.

Apparently, a few minutes after I left, Chloe came to the garage door and started scratching at it, so Eric let her in but had no way to contact me.

She must have been sniffing around in some bushes when I left.

Needless to say, I was mentally drained after that lol. Chloe is my first dog (besides family dogs as growing up) so she is my baby!

Some of you are probably thinking this is just crazy!
But…our two pups are just part of the family :-)

a dog day...

I have seriously neglected these pups on the blog lately!

I took these yesterday...
can you believe Tank is already 11 months old?!

His lip always get stuck on his teeth...it's actually quite funny!

we think rabbits live under our back porch...chloe is constantly sniffing and snorting trying to find and chase them...poor things! she'll stay outside all day doing this!

wore my new boots this weekend from blowfish shoes!
and my new boots socks from grace and lace!

I love those pups!

so we actually didnt do a whole whole lot this weekend...
I say that...but now I look back and maybe it was really just Sunday we didn't do a whole lot.

We celebrated my sisters 29th birthday! Got to spend time with my niece and nephews!  Eric and I won $28 playing LCR with the fam. And I had a fun little photo shoot with Juliana!!

and that's about it!

Chloe as a puppy!

Chloe with long hair...eep!! (1 year old!)

Chloe now! (4 years old and 20 lbs!)

Oh my sweet little baby....Chloe.

She was my first puppy ever. She is 4 now!

Sure we had dogs and puppies as kids but SHE was my first ever little baby.

I chose her.

A little smarty pants. Too smart for her britches.

Always waiting for a treat

She thinks she tricks me. She'll sit by the door to be let outside. Go outside for literally one second. Come back in and go straight to the kitchen for a treat!

So spoiled. I bring her water in bed.

So lazy...she will lay down and eat from her bowl beside her.

She is such a pouter.

And so sensitive.

But she's my baby!

Are y'all as crazy about

your furbabies as we are!

Oh and just FYI...Eric now calls them our furbabies...heehee.

Insta-Lately plus a fun little something!

Hey ladies!!!

It's been a while since I've post my Instagram photos!

this was all a couple weekends ago!

1. you can barely see chloe but she is completely passed out!

Obviously this is what I wore in my VLOG yesterday..It is seriously so comfy...I'm on the hunt for more!!

Last time I wore this dress it was with chambray.

Oh Tank.

He is seriously about 70 lbs now.

(only half of what his 'grown up' size will be)

He loves food and water. And anytime he sees those two...he jumps around like a bucking bull.

I wish I could get a photo of him doing the following...

when I am getting a treat for them I can always hear him jumping up behind me. He can jump as high as I am tall now. As he jumps, Eric can see his head peek up over the counter from the living room!

It really is the funniest thing but maybe you have to be there!

If you really want to see him going crazy spastic...take a look at yesterday's vlog!

 And remember here...when we gave Tank the nickname of Mr. Shuffles.

My mom was over this weekend and she was like..."he shuffles his feet. he doesn't pick up his back legs." It seriously is the funniest thing...I promise!

chick flicks

So it's Friday!!!!

E and I are such creatures of habit...

Our Friday night routine consists of...

1.Takeout from Genghis Grill

2.Wine

3.Dessert from Ooh La La Dessert Boutique

(plus I always get a couple of cakeballs to pop before dinner!)

4.and a movie from Netflix

 I'll bet E is super happy we have an action packed movie from Netflix tonight! Haywire to be exact.

I have to give props to E two days in a row...

For the last three weekends...we've had chick flicks!!

(loved this movie!)

The week before all of these was War Horse. Which was such a great movie!

I have to confess...

When E says we have an inspirational movie on the way...

I'm kind of not excited. Is there something wrong with me that I'd rather watch a chick flick or action packed movie before an inspirational one?!?! E thinks I may be a little crazy!
I guess I just have to be in the mood or those types of movies...

and of course the weekend wouldn't be complete without these two pups...

A Great Weekend...

E and I had a great weekend celebrating his birthday!

We had our usual Friday take out from Genghis Grill and wine (plus a little dessert)!

Saturday night we dressed up and went to Pappa Bros Steakhouse!

And Sunday went to see The Avengers in XD 3D! Awesome movie!!!

I NEVER take naps on the weekend...so I guess E felt it was necesasry to take a photo. At least my mouth wasn't wide open!! However my arm did hurt...it was in a twisted position.

I love Clo Clo's hair at this length! She is such a smarty pants...it kills me!

 

 

We had a great weekend!

We are celebrating next weekend with our moms...plus taking them to the cake tasting!!

Oh, Tanker Butts...

Oh Tanker Butts...I mean Tank...I mean Mister Shuffles...

You have so many nicknames because you are just too darn cute!

You will be 5 months on Wednesday...and I can barely pick you up anymore.

You weigh 46 pounds...averaging a growth of 4 pounds a week!!!

I remember the drive to get you {HERE}.

And then your first day home {HERE}!

And you love Chloe sooo much! Always trying to do what she does...giving her kisses in the face...following her around every second.

You are just a big teddy bear! Always pouting...and so sensitive!
Always soaking up the sun and chewing on grass and sticks!

This may be the only time you sat next to Chloe without pestering her!

That's more like it!
