Guest Post - Gina at All the Pretty Things

Hi again! I want to introduce Gina! She blogs over at All the Pretty Things. Click HERE to visit her blog. And you better visit! She has wonderful ornament tutorial for you! I'll let her get started!

Hi everyone!!
I am SO excited to share this with you! I've noticed all these beautiful sparkly ornaments all over the place. And I thought... hmm... I could just make those! Sooo, I did!
All you need is....
  • Ornaments ($6 for 9 @ Target)
  • Puff Paint ($0.99 ea. @ Wal mart)
  • Glitter (I already had some but you can get this anywhere, super fine is the best!)
  • Styrofoam (I had Wes bring this home from work but at Michaels I think it was $3)
  • BBQ skewers (I already had these but I'm sure you can pick these up almost anywhere)

At Pottery Barn this ornament is $6.50 each!

At Crate and Barrel these ornaments are $29.70 for a set of 6!
I made ALL 18 of my ornaments for about $15!!
1. You apply the puff paint to your ornament in whatever design you'd like then quickly add the glitter. To add more layers of paint or glittler let the the first design dry completely before you do.

2. Use the BBQ skewers and styrofoam to dry the ornaments. We all know how messy glitter and paint can be!

That's it!!! You just repeat those 2 steps until you're done! Have fun with it and remember, if you have glitter and paint everywhere... You did it right!

Merry Christmas!!
