Bridesmaid Dresses...I need YOUR help!

Ready for some wedding planning action??!
I actually need your help!

So I have 4 bridesmaids...

My two sisters, my bestie Kira (who lives in Cali) and Michelle. Since Kira is so far away she wasn't able to go...but we went shopping for bridesmaid dresses a few weeks ago!

It was fun and we had lunch afterwards!

I need your help!

I kind of think I would like them all to wear the same dress.

My two sisters will wear this one for sure.
Sorry the photos are so small.

And I'm not sure if I want Kira and Michelle to wear this one...or the one my sisters are wearing.

What do you think?
All the same or would the two clash?

More photos...my sisters just might kill me for posting these!!

This bright blue one...is the one my sisters will wear...but in the gray color!

The one Jess is wearing...is the one I may or may not have Michelle and Kira wear.

What is your opinion?

Happy Friday! and have a lovely weekend!
xoxo

  1. The last wedding I was in there were two BM dresses. 3 wore one, and 2 wore another. It looked so good. When we walked down the aisle or stood we had to make sure we were alternating so if you want your sisters standing closest to you, it's something to think about.

  2. for my brother's wedding these are all the dresses we tried on. she had us choose and the one I picked was similar to the one michelle is wearing but it has pockets and isn't gathered at the top. i think between 6 bridesmaids there are 3 dresses. So i'm sure either way you go it will look great. I LOVE the one your sisters are wearing - that is my favorite. and her baby bump is adorable!

  3. I love unique-ness, so I say do the two different dresses! My biggest thing is the fabric being the same. As long as the material of the dress is the same (and obviously the color), then I think you're golden! :) I truly don't think they have to be the same style! I love it!

  4. I like the one your sis Jess is wearing. I like the cut of the dress--the top and such looks very wedding appropriate and good for different body types ie chesty not chesty etc etc : )

  5. I am a huge fan of bridesmaids all in the same dress, so I go with the one that Jess is wearing in the group picture - I love the high neck, rouging, etc. =)

  6. I'm crazy ocd so i like everything the same - i love the blue one on the left - i feel like everyone could wear a functional bra, be comfortable and even with a baby bump it looks beautiful!

  7. I think Rachel's is my pick. I do think it's nice though to give the bridesmaids options, some dress styles don't look right on certain body types. I'm just not a huge fan of that second option.

  8. It's your wedding- do whatever YOU want :)

THey can be the same, the MOH can be different, they can all be different. I personally like when a bride lets the BM choose the best & most flattering dress for each girl. They look so much better wearing a dress that looks good on them instead of everybody just wearing the same to be all matchy. I picked a designer line (fabrics) & color, then let my girls get whatever dress they wanted.

HTH! I love that silver color though!

  10. I like the first dress that you've picked out for your sisters and think they should all be in the same dress. I had my girls all wear the same dress but we modified the maid of honor dress a little to make it a bit different.

Love your color choice too since I went with grey and loved it!

  11. If they don't all wear the same dress, you had rotate them/dresses by the way that they're standing. I don't think that makes sense, ha! Like dress one, dress two, dress one, dress two . . . so it could blend it in some? I love the color on the two that you like!

  12. rachel's is great!! but I really like all of them. You could do different styles based on what the bridesmaids like and what looks best on their particular figures! :)

  13. The one Rachel is wearing is a more flattering fit!

  14. 1. That baby bump is adorable!
    2. I like the idea of doing too and really like the one Jess is wearing. I was in a wedding recently and there were 2 different dresses all in the same color and I really liked the way it looked.

  15. I was recently in a wedding where the bride let us bridesmaids pick our dresses. she gave us a place to get it from (David's Bridal), a lengh (knee-length), and a color (Emerald Green) and we each picked our own. I had sleeves added to mine and was told it was the most beautiful dress there - and the other bridesmaids wondered why they didn't do that, too! It was nice to have a choice and everyone looked beautiful. I do love the color you've picked!

  16. I love all those dresses! I wore the strapless one for my brother's wedding in October and I loved it! But I think all would work for your lovely ladies!

  17. LOVE Bridesmaid dress shopping! I actually had all of my bridesmaids in the second dress you showed (kinds like the halter top but not really) in the Clover color (the one your friend is wearing). I found that to be the most flattering for all the different body types. Hope this helps!

  18. i love the silver/grey ones! i don't think having different dresses in the same color will look weird at all. i actually like it better because i feel each girl should wear the best dress for their body.

  19. I was in a wedding this past summer and wore the blue dress in the bottom left picture. I LOVED IT. I didn't think I would because of the neck, but it was so comfortable! We almost got the green middle one, but I felt it was too short, or at least the one I tried on was! We had to do alternating dresses too, due to one girl being 8 months preggers at the time! Such wonderful choices! :)

  20. I don't think it would clash, but I really like the one you picked for your sisters! Very cute!

  21. They are all super cute but my favorite is the one you have your sisters wearing (the first pic). It wouldn't clash if you had them wearing different ones though.

  22. The blue dress that Rachel had on... looks like (I'm thinking it is!) the dress that I had all my bridesmaids wear. I had them wear it in the Watermelon color. All of mine wore exactly the same dress. However, I do like the idea of bridesmaid wearing different dresses!

  23. I've recently {last year} attended a wedding where the bride let the girls wear a choice of ONE of these three - It was a bit busy looking however I do believe because she always had a lot of color action which made it hard to focus on the ceremony - {maybe it was my A.D.D} however I thought the first blue dress looked the best - and judging by these pictures I still think it looks best!

Good Luck - remember it's what YOU want.

  24. PS {Jess' Dress} seems unbalanced for {top heavy} girls - again judging by the wedding I attended. Just saying.

  25. I just went back and read my comments - PLEASE do not read them wrong, I kind of sound harsh but in NO way was I trying to be, my opinions were coming from the wedding I attended & NOT from the way the dresses look on your ladies. They all look FABULOUS!
