Oh Happy Tuesday!

I have to work thru Wednesday this week...But E is off the whole week lol! what a lucky butt!

So as you know...I ran the Warrior Dash on Saturday! And I am seriously STILL sore...mostly my calves! So maybe I was just a little outta shape haha! Click HERE to view the photos from it.

Well it fell on the floor I plopped it on the floor when we got home that day...and I guess Chloe thinks that anything with a little fur is hers. She stole it from me! It's now one of her toys that she loves!!

So thanksgiving at our house this year!

Luckily...like I said in a previous post...both moms are gonna come help! Staying the night so we can make a girls night of it lol!

I found a Pecan Pie recipe I am trying out. I've never made pecan pie so hopefully it turns out ok!

Do y'all partcipate in the Black Friday and get up at midnight or so?

I have only done this once a few years ago with my sister Jess. It was actually really really fun...but I came home and crashed! It was tiring! I am thinking of doing it again this year but I need to look up all of the deals going on. Thinking of hitting up Bed Bath & Beyond (seriously need the whole store!), Khols and Toys R Us (maybe Target).

I'll start off by saying I have the Best, Sweetest fiance ever!!!

He actually surprised me with a 30th bday party!

He had a girlfriend take me shopping for our Warrior Dash clothes this coming weekend...so of course I didnt think anything was up. She drops me off...(no cars in the driveway)...and everyone was hiding in the kitchen!

From what I've heard... Good thing my family arrived a little early to help because E was going crazy lol. I dont know how he pulled it all together in 2 hours. (lets just say we had a crazy week and he wasnt able to run those errands before hand! lol)

This was my Bday Gift from E!

Everyone was so sweet to get me gifts! I got lots of Starbucks stuff (oh yeah!!), a shirt and earrings, kitchen stuff (that I seriously needed!), and more!

Thanks to everyone for the best bday ever!

On My Mind Tuesday...Finding THE dress and other randomness!

It's November!!!!
And my birthday is smack dab in the middle! I will be 30!!! I'm not scared tho...it's just another birthday to me!

So I went shopping for wedding dresses this weekend! It was really fun...until my indecisiveness took over and I couldnt decide between two dresses...really? I think I know which one I will choose (possibly the VERY FIRST dress I tried on) but I tried on so many that day they eventually all ran together. SO...I made an appointment to try only THE TWO dresses on. Actually on my birthday. I will be choosing my wedding dress on my 30th birthday! How exciting! I was seriously stressed out just a teeny bit toward the end when I couldn't decide...I felt a little like this...lol

It's really funny. I live in Texas and Saturday morning was a little chilly out...first weekend it's really been like that. when we arrived at the dress shop...I can't even tell you how many girls had on their new riding boots! haha...including me and one of my sisters!

To go along with this semi-cool weather...I just put something in the crockpot. If it turns out ok...I'll post it on Fit Food Friday!

We are still waiting on our engagement photos to come back!! Come on Allure Photography...isn't 3 days plenty of time to edit photos!! lol

Eric reminded me that when I mentioned our engagement photo shoot last week...I forgot some parts of the story lol!  First of all...we were getting EATEN ALIVE by mesquitos. and our poor photographer was too. I can only imagine him trying to take photos as there are a million mesquitos on his legs he can't swat away.


I also thought we may have to cancel the shoot! After our first outfit change...we come back outside and something was in my eye. It would NOT come out...I couldn't even open it. We spent 20 minutes or so waiting...when finally E says "let me blo in it". Magically...that worked!! 


During the time my eye was giving me crap...E had his own little photo shoot! He had on a gray plaid type button up shirt. I guess you could say it hugged his many muscles! The photographer said..."why don't you cross your arms for this photo"...E said "I don't think I can. The shirt might rip". The photographer lost it! lol...he couldn't stop laughing. Too bad I was only told the story and didn't get to see it! If you missed our halloween costumes last week...E was the Hulk lol.

As I was driving to work this morning...I saw this hot air balloon...

On My Mind Tuesday!

I have quite a few things on my mind today!!!

1. how to fix my hair for my engagement photos next week???? this has been bothering me lol. My hair is flat...I'm horrible at fixing it...I swear I am clueless when it comes to fixing my hair. I did hire a make up artist and hair stylist to help me out tho heehee. maybe she can work a miracle! I do kind of like the half pulled back tho like in the 2nd and 3rd pics.

2. To get a puppy or not to get a puppy?!?! Are'nt these so cute?! the first is a bull mastiff and the second is a bulldog (we would choose one of these breeds). we really want another pup but it's so easy right now...with just clo clo.

3. I really hope everyone participates in the MMM (Motivate Me Monday) next week...it will be the first link up! Read HERE for more info!

4. I bought some riding boots!! I went the cheap route and bought some for $40. HOWEVER, I am returning them. I found its best to splurge a little on boots...the cheaper they are the cheaper they will look. So I ended up buying these yesterday!! I should receive them by Thursday!

5. Eric ordered our Halloween stuff for the costume party this weekend. We will be Marvel comic book characters. I will be the woman version of Thor and Eric is the Hulk! We will be airbrushing E's body with green body paint!!!

Whats On My Mind Tuesday

Good morning! I completely missed a post yesterday...was so stinking busy!

So.... Whats on my mind today? Just a few things... Nothing too special with some overview of the weekend.

* First and foremost...I must say that E makes a mean pot roast!! He made pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and rolls on Sunday! What a feast and it was super delicious. YUMMY!

*Now...I havent given E a hard time lately on here haha...but he is in love with the transformer movies! We bought the third one on Sunday and watched it that night...I think for the past few weeks he had been reminding me of the release date! We have not picked "OUR" song yet for the wedding and I think he secretly wishes it was the transformer movie song!!! Jk!!!

*I am super proud of myself for going to the gym this morn! I told E to start slapping me silly to get me up in the morn. He didn't have to this morning! He gets up at 4:30 to go to work and I am suppose to get up at 4:30 and go to the gym. eek!

*We are going to a Halloween Party in a couple weeks... We need to buy our costumes! E is gonna be the Hulk!!! I'll be some super hero...havent decided yet!

*I can't wait til my new riding boots come in the mail! They should be here Thursday! Yay! (even tho it's still stinking hot outside)

*I splurged and bought some Rock Revival jeans! I LoVE them... They fit so good!

Im sure I forgot some things but my mind is foggy this morn! Forgot my coffee sitting on the kitchen counter

I also wanted to share a couple of things you may or may not know about me :)

*E and I have been together since March 2009!

* I have a HUGE sweet tooth!! The fact that both E and I have a huge sweet tooth is not good...not good at all!! Lol

*I can't wait to have kids! I have the itch SO bad! And I want three!

*I think I'm pretty smart :) but I have so many blonde moments it's not even funny!

*Our pup Chloe is already 3 and a half! I met E when she was almost a year old and I think she loves E more than me haha! She LOVES to lay on him. She can't stand if we are cuddling and she is not in the mix!

*I work for a janitorial company. No I don't clean! (I hate cleaning!) I work in Accounting and HR.

*I am a serious shop-a-holic. But so is E!

* interesting fact about E...he is a computer dork! Yes he builds and maintains websites and all the interworkings of it (computer code...eek!)...I think that's the jist of it...it still confuses me sometimes lol.

As always... Working out is on my mind...trying to find the energy in the mornings. I've made it twice this week so far...yay! I think I will try to start the workout routine "making the cut" by Jillian Michaels tomorrow...yikes!

My fiancé is always on my mind...he's so handsome...
