Slacking a bit but some lucky ladies announced!

oh man you guys...i have seriously been slacking in the blog department lately. 

I have really struggled lately with juggling work and blogging and living life. I pretty much have to do my posts on the weekends and sometimes I just dont feel like it! 

i havent blog in a whole week! i have however been posting on instagram and twitter!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I know I did!

I went black Friday shopping and it wasnt too bad out there...i only found a few good things at H&M. But I just love shopping...i got up at 5:30 am on Friday morning...came home around 9 thinking I was done...then went back out until noon...and finally took a shower (i know...gross huh!). Welp...realized i wasnt done and went back out!! The only time i bought anything was during the 5:30 trip haha!

Just Five!

High Five for Friday!

1. I made it thru my first week at my new job!! I think I'm gonna like it!

3. Our wedding shower is tomorrow night. It's registered gifts for me and a 'stock the bar' for Eric! I'll let y'all know how it goes! I'm horrible at taking photos at events...so we'll see how many I get!

4. We had a huge taste testing of Tookies Marshmallows this week. The marshmallows are HUGE! We are going to give them away as wedding favors at the wedding!! which is less than a month away!!!

now to a super easy recipe and healthy too!!!

I originally saw this on Sara's Bog at A Total Basset Case!

Turkey Taco Lettuce Wraps

original Recipe found {HERE}

INGREDIENTS:

1.3 lbs 99% lean ground turkey

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp salt

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp oregano

1/2 small onion, minced

2 tbsp bell pepper, minced

3/4 cup water

4 oz can tomato sauce

8 large lettuce leaves from Iceberg lettuce

DIRECTIONS:

Brown turkey in a large skillet. When no longer pink add dry seasoning and mix well. Add onion, pepper, water and tomato sauce and cover. Simmer on low for about 20 minutes.

Wash and dry the lettuce. Place meat in the center of leaf and top with tomatoes, cheese and sour cream.

This recipe is soooo easy to make and will now be added to my rotation!

There may be a recipe for microwaved brownie in a mug. It literally takes 6 minutes all together! I gave the recipe to my sister...she texted me 10 minutes later and said it was the best ever!!

As I said earlier this week...I was not happy with David's Bridal. Do you remember last weeks post {here} about bridesmaid dresses?

Well...I thought about it and I def wanted my sisters to wear this dress...

So I had them call to order.

My sister calls me back within 10 minutes and David's Bridal said it was discontinued!

WHAT?

We just tried on dresses maybe 3 weeks prior. Why would they not mention that when I told the sales lady we would be calling to order this particular dress soon. They even made the note on my account so my bridesmaids could call them directly.

Seriously??

So...since there is really no where to look at Bridesmaids dresses (unless you ladies have a suggestion?)...

I found another dress at David's Bridal that looks similar. I will be making an appointment soon to have my ladies try them on.

I just want to thank everyone last week for your comments! They helped so much!

I think I have decided that all of my ladies

will wear the same dress.

hopefully this one looks good...

That is...if David's Bridal doesnt turn around two weeks later and discontinue it. GRRR!

I still kind of like the other one better...I guess we are back to the drawing board.

...that it seriously hurts to sit on the toilet lol! My BUTT and LEGS are so sore from my NEW WORKOUT ROUTINE!! I need to stretch more! The sad thing is...I think this little old lady is more flexible than me haha!

...that mid day thru work I realize there is a hole in my pants. GUESS WHERE???? Right smack dab in the MIDDLE of my BUTT!!!!! Luckily I work in a small office and don't think anyone saw!!!! HELLO sweater around my waist!!

...that while eating lunch at work I SPILL chili all over my SHIRT. Ok...maybe it didn't spill...it FLEW out of my bowl. THEN...I take my water bottle and a napkin and try I get out some of the stain and my WATER bottle SPILLS all over my PANTS. Seriously? I swear I didn't pee my pants.

...that I walked around all day and when I got home from work realized my shoe had ripped! Hanging on by some threads!

What's up with all these clothing mishaps?!?!?! I promise these happened...ALL this week. Which was only Monday - Wednesday haha!

Let's hope nothing happens before 9:30 this morn. I have to go meet a client!

On another note...I was going thru old photos on facebook the other day and came across one of Eric and I when we first started dating almost 3 years ago!

It's OK...

That I love blogging and love all of you ladies! Yalls comments make my day! Even though some days are busy and I may not get to respond...I read every one!

That I thought there was a dead bird in my office. It seriously almost gave me a heart attack. It was on my window sill at work and actually came from birthday flowers (but I never saw that bird and the flowers had been out of my office for a couple days already lol!

That my window sill in my office seriously needs to be dusted (referring to above photo)...Oopsie!!

That I wish I had a cornerless house. (poor Eric thought I was a crazy woman the other night...I said "I wish I had a cornerless house (of course right after I stubbed my toe) and he thought I said "I wish I had a corner of this house"...meaning time by myself lol.) If it has a corner I will hit it...I've even hit my head on a corner once while bending over.

That I actually googled cornerless furniture!

and last but not least...

That E was updating and backing up my Iphone and not sure what happened...but I lost all my contacts and photos!! Its ok babe I still love you! lol


It's NOT Ok...

That I had the worst sore throat ever yesterday (seriously swollen to the limit)...it's a little better today..I can actually swallow now! (which is why I didnt get to respond to all your wonderful comments from yesterday...but will today!
