Our 'second date' story!

So we've been together for just a smidgen over three years!

On our first date...we were both super quiet...that's just who we are...so we had a few silent moments lol.

 

Well...we obviously went on a second date

and this is a tidbit of that date?

...We go out to eat at Babins...a Cajun seafood restaurant. We order their artichoke spinach dip as an appetizer.

We are talking and for some reason I say...'yeah it never fails that I always get something stuck in my teeth...and spinach is the worst! I don't have anything in my teeth do I?'

 

E says...'Well actually you do have spinach in your teeth right now!

So today...when E tells the story...

he likes to say that it was the biggest piece of spinach ever! And that it was there...dangling for the longest time throughout dinner!

I still can't believe he let me go that long with spinach in my teeth!! He says he didn't know how to tell me...it WAS only our second date!

Saturday I went grocery shopping around noon and we unloaded all the groceries out of my trunk.

5am on Monday rolls around...I hop in my car to go to the gym.

My car reaks!!!!

I have no clue why...maybe it was my lunch containers i forgot to bring in on Friday?   ...so I roll down the windows to let it air out while I drive to the gym. (hey I'm not missing the gym if I'm getting up at 4:30am!)

Call me crazy...I dare you!

So I have a good workout..drive home (car still stinks!!).

I get ready for the day and go to the freezer to pull out the chicken I'm going to cook for that night. I'm thinking to myself..where is all of my chicken I just bought?

Light Bulb!

I run to my trunk and sitting there are two packages of rotten chicken.

You've seriously got to be kidding me. It didn't help that we had hot/warm weather all weekend either...so that just made the smell even worse.

Well...the smell is finally gone out of my car. It took the whole day driving around with my windows down...hair blowing everywhere and humid! grrrr.

Has anything like that ever happened to you?!?! Or did your car get stinky for some crazy reason?!

It is ok...that as I am typing up this post...Chloe and Tank are playing and Tank keeps getting stuck under the bed! (he thinks he is smaller than he really is!)

It's OK...that Tank poops a TON!

Its almost friday ladies! we can make it!

It's ok...

...That Tank pooped on his fluffy pillow then laid in it to play. I had to give him a quick bath...all before I had to go to work! :-/

...That the same day that Tank pooped on his pillow...I had to give him the heimlich. Or something of the sorts. Poor guy tries to scarf down his food so fast. If you had walked in on us...you would've thought I was beating him to death! 

...That Tank literally poops like 8 times a day! Oh the joys of having a puppy lol! He is such a sweetie!!

That I always forget the funny stuff eric does. I try to remember to write it down because they are hilarious. Note to self: remember to write down the funny things!

...that I looked like this on Sunday. I could've given E a black eye for taking this! Obviously he caught me off guard.

(yes this is what I look like...yikes...I know! I can't believe I just showed you this!) Don't you love the hair?!?! Or maybe you love the crazy faced look?

...And then it's NOT ok that Chloe had an eye infection...the vet couldn't see her until after the weekend...and by then it was in both eyes! Poor girl.

Bachelorette Party Plans plus its ok!

It's ok...

...that I have a serious Texan accent with a serious Texan drawl. I got made fun of when I said "eyeball" this past weekend. The way I said it should have been spelled eye BAWL. Hey I live in Texas...I have an accent!

...that I don't care to think of anything else because I'm ready to tell you about my bachelorette party!!

My Bachelorette Party!

So my sisters have been busy planning my bachelorette party! First you must know that I am not a big party person so we will be doing my bach party... pool side! In San Antonio, TX. (just a couple hours away from houston).

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa

Pool side service...food and drinks while we catch some rays!

They even have a lazy river.

We will prob go out to the River Walk in San Antonio Saturday night for a fun night out!

Then we have the San Antonio River Walk...

I know I'm gonna have fun!!

It's OK...to eat chili with a fork!

...I had to eat chili with a fork! No spoons were available! Luckily it was thick chili!

...that all tank does is: play, sleep, eat and poop!

...that I seriously dislike the Oklahoma turnpike! They make you pay a toll but then refund you some of it back two minutes later! Makes no sense to me!!

...that I made E stop at an Amish store in Oklahoma for some homemade fudge and chocolate covered coffee beans!

...that I ate all those chocolate covered coffee beans all day Tuesday! Is it possible to overdose on coffee beans?!?!

It's ok that I'm making you look at my BUTT!!

Well hello there ;-)!

It's OK...

...that I wore some work pants yesterday that had a hole in the butt seam. Remember {HERE} when I had a whole week of clothing mishaps? Well I completely forgot to sew the seam back up after taking them to the cleaners...and I wore them again! Seriously?

Ummm...I tried to take a pic bahahah! (the hole doesnt look as big as it feels)

And it's def OK...

...that I just made you look at my butt! Awkward!!!!

...that E never shuts his dresser drawers (but strangely enough...his drawers don't bother me...as long as mine are closed!)...I may be a little OCD when it comes to mine. I took pics of those too!

...that my computer at work was 11 million years old and went bye bye. I won't have a computer at work until Friday. No bueno.

...That I rolled over my iPhone charger so much at work that it completely broke. And so my phone went dead on Tuesday. All day at work with NO phone! Not cool! (yeah I'm constantly rolling back and forth in my chair...it's kinda fun to whip around!)
My hair may be flying in the wind like this while I do it! lol jk!

...that E got me sick. Yes I blame it on you babe! Even though I was a crazy germaphobe (he thought I was crazy)! Oopsie...and I still got sick!

...that E tells me that I snore now that I can't breathe through my nose! (maybe that's what he gets since he got me sick! heehee)

...that I somehow always forget to put deodorant on in the mornings so I keep some at work. How I forget...I have no idea...I mean come on...it's a part of my daily routine!

It's OK Thursday! A Sock Fight?

So remember last Thursday I posted all about my wardrobe malfunctions {HERE}?

Well...it was all good this week!

...that E and I actually had a sock fight. Now let me explain! We were folding laundry and E plops a sock ball at me! So I chunk a sock ball at him! hee hee. Reminds me of the scene in Hitch with Will Smith where they have a salad fight!

...that my brain is not working right now and I've been sitting here for 5 minutes with a blank stare haha!

...that we are anxiously awaiting the breeder to email us saying that "Tank was born"! He was suppose to be born on the 17th!!

This is what he will look like as puppy...

...that when we get Tank in March...he will be the same size  as Chloe! And will prob weigh more than me!

...that y'all will be bombarded with puppy photos! (can you tell we are so excited!!)

...that it seriously hurts to sit on the toilet lol! My BUTT and LEGS are so sore from my NEW WORKOUT ROUTINE!! I need to stretch more! The sad thing is...I think this little old lady is more flexible than me haha!

...that mid day thru work I realize there is a hole in my pants. GUESS WHERE???? Right smack dab in the MIDDLE of my BUTT!!!!! Luckily I work in a small office and don't think anyone saw!!!! HELLO sweater around my waist!!

...that while eating lunch at work I SPILL chili all over my SHIRT. Ok...maybe it didn't spill...it FLEW out of my bowl. THEN...I take my water bottle and a napkin and try I get out some of the stain and my WATER bottle SPILLS all over my PANTS. Seriously? I swear I didn't pee my pants.

...that I walked around all day and when I got home from work realized my shoe had ripped! Hanging on by some threads!

What's up with all these clothing mishaps?!?!?! I promise these happened...ALL this week. Which was only Monday - Wednesday haha!

Let's hope nothing happens before 9:30 this morn. I have to go meet a client!

On another note...I was going thru old photos on facebook the other day and came across one of Eric and I when we first started dating almost 3 years ago!

And this one is from our engagement photos! awe kissy kissy!

Did I just make you gag from this mushi-ness?! lol

I have to let y'all know...I've almost made it to 400 followers! I've only been blogging for just a little over 4 short months...and never in a million years would I think  anyone would read my craziness...lol!

...That while baby sitting the nephews...E is playing Ben 10 (the kid cartoon) on Wii and is sooooo into it that he has barely blinked and his eyes are really watery!!! It was kinda scary haha!

...That I caught myself singing out loud at work...oopsie!

...That I drive like a crazy person to beat the UPS guy to my house! They needed a signature and I needed my camera lol! However...some people would beg to differ that I drive like a crazy person ALL the time

...That I was and maybe am still a little intimidated by this camera!

...That we still have our Christmas tree up! You know YOU do too! Haha and it is seriously DEAD. At least I didn't kill it BEFORE Christmas this year.

...That my sis forwarded me a you tube video of Tiffany (the singer) yesterday...we choreographed a dance to "I think we're alone now" when we were kids!! And we still know the moves!  Did you love her growing up too?

...that I have been living off of my Starbucks gift cards since my birthday! Everyone must think I'm addicted to Starbucks...because that's all I got haha! ME ADDICTED TO STARBUCKS? NAH! (but E is too lol)

...that I am now addicted to the below recipe...mmmmm...so good! Eat it with Pita chips (or regular chips)!

I bought this at HEB (I think they are only in Texas) but I'm sure you can find the relish in any specialty sauce section of your store! It's healthy but doesn't taste like it!

I have two tattoos and believe it or not...when I lived in California at the age of 21 I had my lip pierced and my nose pierced lol! But not anymore!
