You know you have a problem when...

When your cooking dinner in the kitchen and watching tv at the same time and all of a sudden your husband bursts out laughing...but there's nothing funny on the tv.

You then ask him...'what in the world are you laughing at'?

He is laughing at ME!

He then asks if I can scarf down any more marshmallows before dinner?

Apparently I was shoveling marshmallows down as fast as I could while watching tv from the kitchen.

Dressing Room Mishap

So...I'm currently obsessed with all the ways I will be wearing this dress! Frock Candy is def one of my new fav stores. I can't believe blogging has opened my eyes to so many wonderful and affordable shops!!

Ok seriously....

Isn't it normal for department store employees to knock on a dressing room door before letting someone come in inside?

Well... I was at Victoria Secret trying on some cute stuff for our honeymoon.

First of all...I sat by the dressing room for about five minutes before I had to go up to the register so they could track someone down with a key to the rooms.

Then...I was in there for maybe five minutes (yeah I'm one of those people who take forever!). I can hear one of the employees talking to another customer and sounded like she was about to open a room for her.

All of a sudden the door swings open and I yell out.

I'm pretty sure everyone saw me...the employee giggles and shuts the door. No apology...nothing.

Especially in a store like this...why would you not knock on the door first to double check?

Needless to say...I was getting hangry so I def let it be known at the register what happened.

Who wants to be half naked and strangers see you????

Like Whoa...!

For real...

the phrase, "like whoa", seriously popped into my head when I saw this photo.

because this is way too short to be wearing without jeans or leggings! Which I will be wearing when you see this on me next time!

I received this email the other day regarding my bracelets at Chloe vs Tank.

I was drinking wine at the moment and almost (ALMOST) spit it out!

I knew right away she must have been using some sort of touch screen!

I constantly have this problem. Not with that word in particular but sometimes condom will pop up or some other crazy word!

That might have been the highlight of my day. Or maybe it was just super funny because I had already drank a little wine?!

I'm not a country girl...

I had an excellent weekend!

Eric and I spent Saturday with my family celebrating my mom's birthday and my nephew's 9th birthday!

I got to see this cute little girl..and she is the funniest!

But her nod is just one very stern nod!

As you know....I live in Texas...but after this weekend I realize I am not a country girl!

My sister Rachel lives in the country for sure...which is where we celebrated the birthdays.

Anyways...It's getting darker and it's seriously hot and bugs are all around. But it seems like there are a ton of these little bugs everywhere! They just won't go away. At one point I look down at my shirt and there is a black patch of bugs!!

(of course everyone else says they're not gonna kill me)

So...next time...I'm bringing a bug net!!

I'm not a country girl! lol.

I hate bugs!

Remember when I bought {these} mint capris from Kohls?

Well I originally went there because Rachel had a pair of white ones that were really cute (I ended up getting white as well)!

So the day after I buy them...I told her I went there and they were on sale and the cashier gave me an extra coupon!

In the next few minutes...I realize that my sister is a Kohls guru!

So I'm sure if I've really told you guys that I love food!

Well, Eric I and went to Cheddars for our third date. It had just opened and I'd never been there. It's good old country cookin'!

I order a chicken fried steak!

mmm...mmm...mmm

(I couldn't wait to chomp down on that!)

Eric...being the healthy eater he is...orders fish and veggies.

I know what you're thinking...fish and veggies??? YES!

I think at some point when we first got the food I offer him a bite to try...and he says no.

I'm like ok...so I eat the whole thing!

(mind you...these chicken fried steaks are bigger than the plate!)

I'm not a salad picking kinda gal...I love my food!!

Eric said he went to ask me for a bite towards the end of dinner and it was gone!

I think he was shocked!

 

Now...he likes to tell everyone that I scarfed it down and never offered a bite! He says he went to ask for a bite and it was gone!

You snooze...you lose buddy!

It's ok...Our Second Date Story!

It's ok to have _____ in your

teeth while on a second date.

Our 'second date' story!

So we've been together for just a smidgen over three years!

On our first date...we were both super quiet...that's just who we are...so we had a few silent moments lol.

 

Well...we obviously went on a second date

and this is a tidbit of that date?

...We go out to eat at Babins...a Cajun seafood restaurant. We order their artichoke spinach dip as an appetizer.

We are talking and for some reason I say...'yeah it never fails that I always get something stuck in my teeth...and spinach is the worst! I don't have anything in my teeth do I?'

 

E says...'Well actually you do have spinach in your teeth right now!

So today...when E tells the story...

he likes to say that it was the biggest piece of spinach ever! And that it was there...dangling for the longest time throughout dinner!

I still can't believe he let me go that long with spinach in my teeth!! He says he didn't know how to tell me...it WAS only our second date!

When I first saw this photo...I immediately saw how huge my hand looked (or maybe the weird angle). I do actually have big hands anyway but this made it look even worse!!!

I cannot wear bangles because they won't slip over my hand haha (thanks mom!)!

And then it reminded me of the sitcom...King of Queens.

Why is everyone Flashing us?! plus...Pinteresting!

So as you know it was a 20 hour drive just to get Tank. (I nicknamed him...Tankers)

We rented a Ford Edge because my car is too small to hold a cage and Eric's truck is too jacked up and bumpy!

Oh boy...I fell in love with the heated seats! I had it on the whole way haha!!

Well we leave Houston, TX and get on the freeway...within 5 minutes a BMW gets behind us and flashes their lights. We were figured they were flashing us to get out of their way.

Halfway to Dallas...we pass a cop that has pulled someone over and he gives us the craziest look.

And one other time...someone gets behind us and flashes us again. Why are people being so rude??!

I think it was in between Dallas and Sherman TX (near Oklahoma) that we got pulled over by a cop.

We didn't have our headlights on the whole way! Which was about 5 hours driving in the dark with just our day lights running. I guess the raods were well lit lol!

The cop was cool and just gave us a warning.

Have you ever done anything crazy like that?!?!

Oh..and an update on Clo Clo and Tankers.

They actually ran around outside last night and played together!!
