What is your favorite season and why?

my fav season would actually be summer. Even tho I love all of the fall clothing...I love sbeing hot. Am I a complete weirdo? maybe. But I love sitting outside in the sun!

Talk about a moment that changed your life.

Well...something very exciting just happened that will be a milestone in my life and create lots of changes! umm like maybe kids in the near future! heehee. Eric and I got married!

If you could be any Crayola crayon color, what would you be and why?

I would be...yellow. Because I am so clumsy...yellow would be for caution when approaching me! lol.

Describe yourself as a superhero. Super power? Name? Sidekick?

hmmmm...seriously...this one is so hard for me!

I imagine my super power would be something like being able to read people's minds! But that could def me into trouble!

If you had all the money in the world and could only shop at 3 stores, where would you shop?

Hey ladies!!!

1. When you're feeling down, what do you do to pick yourself up?

I shop! or eat a lot of carbs and sweets!

2. If you had to live in a different time period which would you prefer?

I think I would love to live in the 70s!

3. What is the most creative Halloween costume you've ever worn?

Well to be honest...I think you would rather want to know about Eric's most creative costume!

4. Five weird things about you we wouldn't know without being told?

- I have to put my left shoe and sock on first!

- I sing and dance all over the house busting out dance moves and don't even realize it until Eric is staring at me in bewilderment!

- I will re-staple pieces of paper until its perfectly aligned.

- I literally hate talking on the phone.

- I can't remember how to write cursive! I actually tried the other day!

5. What would you tell your 16-year-old self?

to not care what everyone thinks so much and be yourself!

Hello, friends! My name is Amy from the Charming. TCB is a general lifestyle blog with focuses on art, inspiration, and wellness as well as the occasional recipe, fashion post, and giveaway.

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and though I am eager to discover a new culture and scenery, I love Georgia. Right now, I am in nursing school somewhat full-time, but I have been doing photography for about five years now and I love it -- as I'm sure many of you also do!

I just recently got married to my best friend. In fact, he's incredibly supportive of my part-time photography, blog designing, and blogging -- he loves that I do them all.

In December we adopted a puppy, who was the biggest impulse buy ever for two cat-lovers. That's right, we are not dog people. We have two cats whom we absolutely love because they are low-key and are awesome cuddlers. But who can resist the face of a puppy wanting to be rescued?

So, anyways. That sums up my life right now. I'm off for the summer, which I haven't done since I was in high school. But, boy, I have been (and will continue to be) busy! I return to nursing school in August; it's a very challenging program, but I know it's preparing me to be the best nurse I can be.

Insta-Lately plus a fun little something!

Hey ladies!!!

It's been a while since I've post my Instagram photos!

1. you can barely see chloe but she is completely passed out!

Yesterday was the BEST mail day ever. If you've never heard of RustikChic...or if you've ever hesitated on buying one of her bracelets...go buy one now!!! I can't even begin to describe how gorgeous this bracelet is!!

Now for something fun!!

Elizabeth over at Defying Gravity came up with a super cute idea and asked me to join in with her! Another fun way to connect to bloggers! Everyone loves mail right?! So she came up with the idea for a postcard exchange... How it works
1. You will have 1 week to sign up.
2. She will then pair you with another blogger.
3. Once paired you will contact your partner and get an address.
4. Buy a postcard to send. Write a note, a quote, draw a picture or something to share with your partner, or even put it in an envelope with some candy (heehee).
5. Once partners are announced you will have till a certain date to mail out your postcard that Elizabeth will mention in the email when she pairs you up.

oh man...this is a tough one. I would have to say somewhere in elementary school. Only because those years were so carefree maybe? playing outside every summer...no school lol!

It's OK...that Tank poops a TON!

Its almost friday ladies! we can make it!

I'm linking up here today as always!

It's ok...

...That Tank pooped on his fluffy pillow then laid in it to play. I had to give him a quick bath...all before I had to go to work! :-/

...That the same day that Tank pooped on his pillow...I had to give him the heimlich. Or something of the sorts. Poor guy tries to scarf down his food so fast. If you had walked in on us...you would've thought I was beating him to death!

...That Tank literally poops like 8 times a day! Oh the joys of having a puppy lol! He is such a sweetie!!

That I always forget the funny stuff eric does. I try to remember to write it down because they are hilarious. Note to self: remember to write down the funny things!

...that I looked like this on Sunday. I could've given E a black eye for taking this! Obviously he caught me off guard.

(yes this is what I look like...yikes...I know! I can't believe I just showed you this!) Don't you love the hair?!?! Or maybe you love the crazy faced look?

...And then it's NOT ok that Chloe had an eye infection...the vet couldn't see her until after the weekend...and by then it was in both eyes! Poor girl.

Bachelorette Party Plans plus its ok!

Hi Y'all!!!!

It's ok...

...that I have a serious Texan accent with a serious Texan drawl. I got made fun of when I said "eyeball" this past weekend. The way I said it should have been spelled eye BAWL. Hey I live in Texas...I have an accent!

...that I don't care to think of anything else because I'm ready to tell you about my bachelorette party!!

My Bachelorette Party!

So my sisters have been busy planning my bachelorette party! First you must know that I am not a big party person so we will be doing my bach party... pool side! In San Antonio, TX. (just a couple hours away from houston).

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa

Pool side service...food and drinks while we catch some rays!

They even have a lazy river.

We will prob go out to the River Walk in San Antonio Saturday night for a fun night out!

Then we have the San Antonio River Walk...

I know I'm gonna have fun!!

It's OK...to eat chili with a fork!

Hi there!
I'm linking up here today...

It's ok...

...I had to eat chili with a fork! No spoons were available! Luckily it was thick chili!

...that all tank does is: play, sleep, eat and poop!

...that I seriously dislike the Oklahoma turnpike! They make you pay a toll but then refund you some of it back two minutes later! Makes no sense to me!!

...that I made E stop at an Amish store in Oklahoma for some homemade fudge and chocolate covered coffee beans!

...that I ate all those chocolate covered coffee beans all day Tuesday! Is it possible to overdose on coffee beans?!?!

Why is everyone Flashing us?! plus...Pinteresting!

So as you know it was a 20 hour drive just to get Tank. (I nicknamed him...Tankers)

We rented a Ford Edge because my car is too small to hold a cage and Eric's truck is too jacked up and bumpy!

Oh boy...I fell in love with the heated seats! I had it on the whole way haha!!

Well we leave Houston, TX and get on the freeway...within 5 minutes a BMW gets behind us and flashes their lights. We were figured they were flashing us to get out of their way.

Halfway to Dallas...we pass a cop that has pulled someone over and he gives us the craziest look.

And one other time...someone gets behind us and flashes us again. Why are people being so rude??!

I think it was in between Dallas and Sherman TX (near Oklahoma) that we got pulled over by a cop.

We didn't have our headlights on the whole way! Which was about 5 hours driving in the dark with just our day lights running. I guess the raods were well lit lol!

The cop was cool and just gave us a warning.

Have you ever done anything crazy like that?!?!

Oh..and an update on Clo Clo and Tankers.

They actually ran around outside last night and played together!!
